A visit from our Little Sweetie!
Yesterday we got to keep our little sweet Tabi while Mommy ran some errands. We enjoyed her so much. She says the cutest things now and is so sweet to have around. She loves to be outside so we sat on the porch for awhile and enjoyed so much having her.
Our pretty little grandaughter. This is our youngest grandchild. Can hardly believe she is going to be four very soon.

One of Tabi's favorite things to do at Mamaw's is to eat an ice cream cone. It's even more fun sitting in the swing.

April brought some nice Spring Weather
This spring I made a new little flower bed beside our carport. So far everything is growing quite well. The seeds for some flowering plants have not yet came up but hopefully they will appear soon.
We always look forward to seeing the first humming birds of the year and wonder which one of us will see the first one. Mac happened to see the first one this year out our kitchen window. We really enjoy seeing them all summer. We have a huge flowering bush close to the house near the kitchen window and they come to it frequently and then also I keep a humming bird feeder near the house too.

Easter Sunday
We had a wonderful Easter. The morning started out with breakfast at church which was a real feast of just about anything you have ever heard of for breakfast, fruit, pastries, eggs, breakfast casseroles, biscuits, bacon, sausage, gravy so much good food. Since our service was being held in our local school auditorium we could also use the cafeteria for breakfast. It was great since our church suffered great damage a year ago by the earthquake that hit our area and we are in the process of preparing to build a new church. At the present time we are having service in our fellowship hall and we have to have two services to accomodate all our people. It was so amazing to see everyone in one service. The attendance was over 500 and it was just wonderful to see everyone singing praises to our wonderful Lord and Savior on this Easter Sunday. What a special day it was! After church we met at our daughter Tina's home for a great meal with all the family and had a great time visiting and eating again. It was so good. Thanks Tina for having us. It was so fun to spend the day together.
Mamaw with her special girls. I love them so much!!
Bethany and Marisa hid Easter eggs and the little girls had so much fun hunting for them. Tabi was hurrying to find some more.
Oops, Tia spilled some from her basket and I think TaraKate is helping pick them up. It was really fun watching them scurry around looking for the eggs.
Marisa helped the little girls make a bunny house. It turned out really cute. It was like a gingerbread house but called a bunny house. It was a really fun crafty thing for them to enjoy doing together.
Ed was getting ready to leave and so I took advantage of them being together and took their picture together. Its not always that you can get your grown children together for a picture.
Tabi, TaraKate and Tia telling Uncle Ed goodbye.

My Happy Birthday!
This post is a lttle late but really wanted to let everyone know I had a very "Happy Birthday " last week thanks to my wonderful family. First off my sister called the day before and ask if we could go with them to a new restaurant in the area for some cajun food. They picked us up and took us to this very nice place and this is a photo of what I had to eat, deep fried crawfish tails, baked potato, vinegar slaw and honey bun. It was very good. Thanks so much Bobbie! It was so fun to be together.

The waitress was so very nice and took this photo of me and Mac with my sister Bobbie and her husband Bob and sons Jay and Chad. We had a very nice time together.
This is me with the grandaughters with the delicious cheesecake they brought. It was so good.
Isn't this picture below so cute of TaraKate holding the little wildflower blooms in her precious little hand? They had been for a walk in the woods with Mommy and she brought them to her Mamaw. I thought that was so sweet.
TaraKate looking at the wildflowers she had picked out of the woods and brought one day. They were still so pretty. I put them in a bowl of water and they stayed pretty for several days so they were still nice for my birthday
Bethany and Marisa gave me this "Willow Tree " ornament and I think it is so cute. It can also be hung on the Christmas tree but can be used anytime also.
Kimberly and Tina gave me these "Willow Tree " figurines. I think they are so cute and it reminds me of my son and 2 daughters, of course that is why they gave them to me. I can hardly believe how someone can make all these cute figurines and they always can be used for some special occasion.
Below is another surprise from my sister Betty. She is coming in a few days to visit so I will have to wait to see what is in this cute gift bag. She had taken this photo so I thought I would just post the cute picture.

Welcome signs of spring.....
Isn't this so cute? Can you see the bluebird looking in my window? We love to see them but this one kept coming to the window. I think he saw himself in the window. It sort of looks like he was looking at my lighted church house.
The little Mrs bluebird sat on our bell for awhile and we got to enjoy her for a spell. She is not as bright as Mr bluebird but is really pretty too. She didn't want to turn her head towards me so I took her picture anyway. If you wait very long she will fly away so can't be too choosy which view I can get.
