Wonderful Valentine's Day

What do you think of this new cookie cutter that Marisa brought? They sure had fun using the big lips.
Marisa and Tabi enjoyed some icecream together. They like to mix chocolate and vanilla together.

TaraKate is showing the neat measuring spoons that Bethany and Marisa gave Mamaw. They are so cute. The spoons are heart shaped.

TaraKate loved mixing up the icing for the cookies. She always finds ways to help.

Tabi loved mixing up the cookie batter.

Bethany and Tia are good buddies and love being together making cookies or just having fun.

Mamaw made the girls all matching aprons to wear.

The girls are decorating all the cookies and they had some neat ideas

This is all the cookies after they decorated them

Bethany and Marisa brought us all matching Valentine T- shirts to wear so we could look alike.

This is the card Bethany and Marisa gave me. Can you believe they could find one that had just the right picture to go with the theme of the day?

These cards made by Tia and TaraKate are so cute and made by their own precious little hands, and their Mommy creatd one with their photos on it and I really like that.

Kimberly brought the perfect card to go with what we were doing too. I Just love them all.

We had a very wonderful Valentine's day making cookies and having fun together with all 5 grandaughters. They came for dinner and then the fun began. We had lots of laughing and just enjoying being together for the evening.

Kimberly brought me another Willow Tree figurine and it is so cute. The figurines all come with a little card that describes the meaning and this one says" Close to me" Apart or together, always close to me. Isn't that just so sweet? I Love it. It also has the neatest carvings on it, like doves and little flowers.

Happy Birthday Dear Sister!

Happy Birthday Betty!
Just want to wish my dear sister “Happy Birthday” on her special day.
I always liked this picture of us. I am so happy our sweet mother had this photo made of us together. Betty is on the right and I am on the left. This was us a few years ago. Today Betty is the big 65 and I am 2 years older then she is so you can figure real fast how old I will be next month. We have had lots of good times together over the years and still do. It is so easy to keep in touch now days even though we live 2 hours from each other. We both use our cell phones and the internet to communicate almost daily. We are both retired and so is our husbands so we do make trips to visit each other also. We still have some fun times together.

Note from Grandson

Yesterday I received an email from my grandson Dallas. I love to hear how he is doing at college. He is a student at Purdue and he sent a photo of the courtyard at his dorm. It is so neat, I wanted to post it here on my blog. Thanks Dallas for this neat photo.

This is proud Grandpa Mac, Dallas and proud Dad, Ed
