This spring I made a new little flower bed beside our carport. So far everything is growing quite well. The seeds for some flowering plants have not yet came up but hopefully they will appear soon.
We always look forward to seeing the first humming birds of the year and wonder which one of us will see the first one. Mac happened to see the first one this year out our kitchen window. We really enjoy seeing them all summer. We have a huge flowering bush close to the house near the kitchen window and they come to it frequently and then also I keep a humming bird feeder near the house too.
Mac found some really nice mushrooms so I couldn't resist taking some photos. They were really nice ones and were really tasty too. He only found these five the first day.
These are the mushrooms he found the next day. He sat his coke can beside them to compare the size. They were really nice too.
